The 5th Annual Short Play Festival will be held at Bothwell Auditorium this Friday, February 12, 2021. Blackburn students are WELCOMED to watch the show LIVE, limited seating available. The show will also be streamed on the Blackburn Department of Music and Theatre Facebook page.

Madrigals are almost upon us, yes you heard right. This year Madrigals will be entirely online, kind of.

Blackburn College Department of Music and Theatre in partnership with @TitanTheatreCo will present our fall production of Romeo & Juliet by William Shakespeare and adapted by Lenny Banovez. The recording will be available Nov. 6 - Nov. 8. Email [email protected] for tickets!

Blackburn College Choir would like to invite you to join us this semester as we do “Choir at Home”. Due to COVID-19 the choir will be meeting entirely online this semester over Zoom.

All students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members are welcome to join!

Students from the @blackburnMUTH College Choir observed an incredible rehearsal of the @slso Symphony Chorus tonight! Amy Kaiser was incredible and so kind to stay after the rehearsal to chat with us. Gail Hintz played absolutely beautifully, as always. We had a great time!

What an awesome day for the @blackburnMUTH Choir! The students rocked some team building and creative thinking exercises in the morning before discussing the dynamics of our program. Then we spent the afternoon with Kevin McBeth, who imparted wisdom and led some great rehearsals!

How about some playwright #ManCrushMonday? Here is Pulitzer prize winning playwright August Wilson. Wilson was famous for The Pittsburgh Cycle, a collection of ten plays that characterized the African American experience throughout the 20th century.

The Department of Music and Theatre is holding auditions for the spring play, The Amazing America Road Trip by Rob Roznowski!

Auditions will take place on Sunday, February 9, at 6:30pm in Bothwell Auditorium.

Members of @blackburnmuth Voices sang for a special service at the Episcopal Cathedral this morning. They did a great job - which is good, since we had a royal guest!
