That turns into no bags very quickly. The reason you can bring in food to MLB stadiums is because moms fought back on changing security policies. The more you let the league/venues do this security theater, the worse it gets for the fans. People are 100% in the right to not want to go along with it.

Instead of “diaper bags/medical bags exempt” just made a clear and consistent policy that would allow for bigger bags like that. No one has to fight a security person who has to make a judgement call, no one has to disclose anything and face shame or embarrassment. Inclusion and accommodations that are already just built in universally benefits literally everyone.

I understand bag check slows up lines and makes getting into games a challenge. At the same time, entirely prohibiting bags through the use of absurd bag sizing rules is impractical and bad for fans

Every venue keeps pushing the envelope and soon, under the guise of "security" you won't be allowed a bag at all
