This being made as part of a claim of being for safety doesn't sound right at all and just feels like they don't want people on mobility scooters to travel as getting them on and off takes some time and eats into profits.
Such great timing from @EastMidRailway the day after the news about what happened to @Tanni_GT on a rail journey my wife has had through the post the new policy for users of mobility scooters on trains which mean she will no longer be able to use the train on her own disgusting.
Her scooter which was fine before is now is now 42mm too wide to travel on their trains. The further disgrace on potentially treating mobility scooter users in the same way as budget airlines treat carry on luggage by making them fit in a box to check the dimensions.
@wehavewayspod@almurray@James1940 Loving the pod only just started listening and am playing catch up as fast as I can from EP1. Not sure if you have spoken about him before but how true are the crazy stories about Jack Churchill was he really that much of a mad lad? #wehaveways
