We build challenges for hackers and programmers. Previous event: December 27–30 at Chaos Communication Congress (#34C3). Next event: August 30 – ??? at ???.
The January edition of the Google Developers newsletter for @gdg and @googledevs leads features a certain "alternate reality game on security and programming" in the Community Leaders Spotlight section.
Made it, Ma! Top of the world!
Catch Natalie in the Go devroom at #FOSDEM! Which is insanely full, by the way, but don’t let that stop you. After all, it’s a challenge, and challenges are great.
PSA: absolutely no hidden items inside the plush gophers. Do not try to dissect them! https://t.co/q5i09sukRv
Anyone at #FOSDEM and wants to hang out?
(FYI, there's no keycard cloning challenge at FOSDEM! If you see my keycard, don't steal it, because I'd really like to get back to my hotel room tonight.)
A detailed write-up for our earlier @TensorFlow challenge, along with a solution in #golang, is now on Medium! Written by the talented @NataliePis.

It’s our pleasure, really! A shoutout to @nostarch is in order, too: they are always making sure our finalists have some extra hacking knowledge to take home. :) https://t.co/i00TjiddtL
You are all wonderful — everyone who’s been playing, helping, following and watching, working day and night to get to the end, or just looking at the stars.
#34C3 have been so inspiring. We can only hope that for someone, we’ve become an inspiration, too.
See you next year!
All the #34C3 puzzles are solved, all the candidates are picked, all the electric scooters are broken and the access cards stolen, and now we have to say goodbye.
But for those who got to the very end, there’s still a grand finale to look forward to!
@justblankz On a related note, the top of your screenshot clearly shows that you're doing something you've been asked not to do. Let's hope nobody sees it.
Shame. 🔔
@justblankz Wow, those lock icons really aren't supposed to be there. Would "switch to Chrome" count as a hint?
Jokes aside, you're at the crossroads, so two hints:
1. Could it be there's some debugging information or development workflows left in the pilot?
2. Seek out Blacklight members.
@emidude Find a leaflet, it has one code in clear text and two more encrypted ones. If you can, find the book we’re all crazy about, and then you can easily solve one of the two. You only need to find two codes to move a bit further in the story, then you’ll know what to do.
@Mario_Vilas We can't know how far you are without the map screenshot, but what you should know about the cards is:
1. A blacklight is not for the cards.
2. There are two codes you can find in this card, only one of them is on the surface.
The next copy of The Diamond Age will be up for grabs very soon :) In the meantime, you get to ask for one hint if you tweet a screenshot of your https://t.co/w4dM3zpEIz map at us! We may not give a specific answer, but we'll try to help you. ❤️ All hints will be public. #34C3
