We stand in solidarity with our Indigenous brothers and sisters who have faced unimaginable cruelty. Today is a day to open up our hearts and educate ourselves. #OrangeShirtDay #EveryChildMatters

[blacklivesforchange @blacklives4C]

Today is orange shirt day! Please take the time to read the slides and inform yourselves as to the hardships the Indigenous peoples have and continue to face. #OrangeShirtDay #EveryChildMatters #indigenousawareness

Rockstar!? Lol. I appreciate the sentiment, Joy.

Truer tho, is that @AndreaHorwath
& @OntarioNDP
have a BOLD platform: #GreenNewDemocraticDeal, centred on "core values of equity, affordability, & reconciliation"; my work with community fits here, & we'll get it done, àṣẹ.

At the end of the drive, we will distribute the donated items to schools within the York Region District School Board, Peel District School Board, and Toronto District School Board. Many schools in these regions have students in need of school supplies and will make a big impact

[blacklivesforchange @blacklives4C]

We are accepting gently used school supplies, workbooks, clean pencil cases, educational games, children books, puzzles, coloring pencils/markers, and any school-related items.

It doesn’t end here The conviction of #DerekChauvin and then the subsequent murder of #Makhiabryant just showed us that while we take one step forward black people will always be pushed 10 steps back . 1 conviction doesn’t = justice complete dismantling and restructuring does

[CBC Toronto @CBCToronto]

Feelings of vindication and pledges to continue fighting for justice poured in on Tuesday after former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin was convicted of murder and manslaughter for killing George Floyd last May. https://t.co/HWxYLJeWcD

Y’all be safe out there though please film any interactions with the police allies plz stop and record when you see the police interacting with people of color. Us standing together got this pushed back! #toronto #curfew #DougFord
