"I'm ok; this one's not my ankle... Everything on my right side is pretty sore."
After the #Dodgers 4-2 win over the Royals, Freddie Freeman (1-2, BB) talks with the media after leaving tonight's game with body soreness.
Dave Roberts on Freddie Freeman after his scary fall:
“He's sore, hand, knee, foot, and shoulder a little bit. Really dodged a bullet. In good spirits. Just total body soreness," Roberts said.
Freeman will be off Friday (scheduled rest). He is day-to-day, and the team will wait to see his status for tomorrow's game vs. the Brewers.
Landon Knack secures a strikeout against Michael Massey in the top of the eighth. The pitch sequence included a mix of four-seam fastballs, a changeup, and a knuckle curve. Score remains LAD 4 - KC 2. #DNGamecast
FINAL: The Dodgers beat the Royals 4-2 to complete the sweep 🔥
Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts, Hunter Feduccia home runs ✅
Quality start from Eric Lauer ✅
Hoping Freddie Freeman is okay 🙏
Big series vs the Brewers starts tomorrow with Roki on the mound!
#Dodgers Manager Dave Roberts when learning that #Lakers owner Mark Walter sold the team. “I was shocked” He also added he has not heard of anything changing with the Dodgers.
BREAKING: The Dodgers have optioned Seth Halvorsen after his debut last night and have recalled Landon Knack 🚨
We greatly appreciate Halvorsen stepping up.
In Halvorsen's debut, he sat triple digits, getting a lineout, a flyout that had a nice throw from Tucker to keep the Manfred Runner at bay, and then a groundout.
FINAL: The Dodgers win 5-4 in the 10th inning on a walk-off from Max Muncy!
Blake Snell dominated with 10 strikeouts across 6 innings in his return, Mookie Betts was 3-4 with a homer and 2 RBI, and Max Muncy delivered a walk-off single after the Royals intentionally walked Kyle Tucker.
LET'S GO!
