@spoiled_eq I’ve had a ton of MRIs. I literally fall asleep in the machine. The sound of them is so rhythmic tbh. Just keep your eyes closed if you don’t like small spaces, just in case they do give you a button to push if you’re feeling claustrophobic and like you can’t stay in anymore.
@AHAcircuitGirl Also this kind of goes hand in hand with this one but once front feet start flying I dip out. I broke my elbow bad a few years ago from a weanling rearing/hitting me in the shoulder/pushing me over. It’s been a pain in the add and left me traumatized and afraid of fronts lmao.
@AHAcircuitGirl I’m a vet assistant, every time I twitch a horse I get nervous. I had a stud basically maul me because he had a twitch on, had me cornered in a stall striking to the point he bruised my back/legs bad. Thankfully didn’t break anything but learned a lesson with that one.
@elliequus@chestnutsnchaps That’s really true, especially the owner cooperation. I solely work with horses so it’s a little easier for me but I couldn’t do it as a small animal tech.
Y’all may be able to help me out - does anyone remember that curved belt that Dover used to sell? It was contoured for women/riding, and went up high on the hip areas? I can’t remember the brand to save my ass. 🤔
@bluntequestrian All I really do trail ride anymore lmao. So that big buckle wouldn’t bother me. It’s super cute and definitely beats $74 for a belt. 😂
@bluntequestrian I found one kind of like it! Same idea anyway. I don’t think it’s the ‘equestrian’ edition but close enough. That NO is super cute though, is it comfy?
@bluntequestrian I’ll check out noble outfitters. It was that like weird u shaped one, I’m sure you know what I’m talking about lmao. Ive never had a more comfortable belt, and I regret getting fat and getting rid of it. 😂😂😂
@bluntequestrian I don’t think it was? I could be wrong though. I used to have one but got too fat for it, I wanted to see if they still made them because I’d like another one. 😂
@ThePolishedEqu I only used mine a few times, but when I did use it I noticed it took a LOT of like shock (?) from the horse and really helped my back.
