Louis March was an elder of the Black community, a partner to everyone involved in the fight against gun violence, and a friend to anyone that felt the warmth of his smile. Louis was a leader in advocating for safer communities and connecting all of us towards a vision of having zero gun violence in our city. Louis' passion remains infectious and will serve as the core principle for continuing his work and honouring his legacy.

The Toronto Raptors remain committed and steadfast in our efforts to build safer communities, and we will continue to fight to stop gun violence until, as Louis said "Rexdale is like Rosedale.” Our prayers and support go out to Wendie and Troy. Rest in Power Brother Louis.
