In recognition of recent events in NU’s community, we have decided to modify our original theme for the Spring Show. This weekend, we will be celebrating The Grand Finn-ale, honoring our host, performers and guests, and content we’ve created this quarter and year as a whole.

Blackout Live Shows are meant to be a way for Northwestern students to come together, laugh, and relate over shared experiences, and we hope this one is able to do the same. 4/4

The Blackout recognizes the loss in the Northwestern community over the weekend. When we chose the show theme last month, we intended our Spring Show to be a celebration of Finn’s tenure as host. 1/4

Nonetheless, since the beginning of the week, we’ve been working on moving the show in a more lighthearted and celebratory direction, as well as minimizing any explicitly funeral-related imagery and content. 3/4
