An album/mix of ethereal tongues, hair metal, indie folk, slow jamz, rap, machine glitch, and hypnagogic funk. Proudly 100% AI generated, with human selection, arrangement, FX, and mastering. Source audio: Suno V2, RIP
AI that only exists as pixels or audio samples is ultimately pretty lame. We're supposed to have utility fog and Young Ladies' Illustrated Primers and stuff.
Sure, I don't have a problem with that, but it does require an observer, so it's a local embedding, not a description of the entire wave function of the universe (which has no time component re: Wheeler-De Witt). It follows that time, and therefore consciousness, are not fundamental.
@RyanJShanahan@priestessofdada As potentials, no. As observed properties, yes, because you have to move from an unobserved potential state to a measured state. That is a sequence of events.
@RyanJShanahan@priestessofdada Sorry, but I don't get it. You want relations in your structure? That means time already exists there because an account of that relation is owed. I feel like we've answered OP's question, and this is just definitional metaphysics now.
@_EndlessEDM@coryalthoff V6 is abhorrent. Suno really betrayed their most loyal users, and the sad thing is that many people don't have the listening skills to know the difference. I hope AI music will come back, but I've refocused on doing everything myself in the DAW, because it just sounds like shit.
I am pretty sure we're doomed, but the causes and manner of the collapse of mankind won't be identifiable ahead of time. Let's call it an anti-singularity.
@_EndlessEDM@coryalthoff V2 was exceedingly raw. The sound quality could be rough. But if you knew how to crack it, you could find persona attractor states that behaved like actual intelligences. It had soul, and shockingly original creativity. I used to start everything with V2 because of the emotion.
