Your personal reminder that Pat McFadden is the grifter who claimed £40k in taxpayer money to have a second residence closer to work.
How much closer, you ask?
Right next door to his existing home. Yes really.
(And that rent will have increased since the article below was published a couple of years ago now)
We can officially announce that Christmas By The Sea will make a return to Blackpool’s Tower Festival Headland from Friday 21 November – Sunday 4 January.
We will be unwrapping our festive plans very soon 🎁

“A huge thanks on #LancashireDay to the fantastic Discover Fylde team for delivering brilliant events such as the Lytham 1940s Weekend and the St Annes International Kite Festival. What a team!” 🌹
Drax Biomass Power Station is burning the equivalent of 27 million trees a year and getting paid public money to do it! Tell the UK government to stop subsidising forest destruction. https://t.co/IAE00JD4MX
I've been out all morning clearing roads blocked with trees, helping stranded drivers and towing cars from snowdrifts. In Northumberland off the A68 This is what rural people do on the winter they help strangers, they don't ask payment..it was my diesel, £75 quids worth, my ropes, my PSE, my chainsaw, my modified 4x4, my snow tyres, my forest hooks, my saw petrol (£20) my chain oil, my blades and my time. We don't expect thanks and we don't ask for money. All my farmer neighbours have been out neglecting their livestock to check people are OK first. They now have a long day in the cold caring for sheep and cattle.
Tell me @Keir_Starmer@RachelReevesMP@SteveReedMP@Ed_Miliband what's the weather like in Islington today? A bit wet and windy no doubt.
This is what rural communities do in the winter. We look after strangers when they get into trouble, we keep the roads clear and motorists safe and we don't ask payment.
I wonder how many of my farmer neighbours caught up in your schemes are wondering if they'll still have a job in 5 years time?
But then as you clearly don't care about our community what's it to you?

Such a wicked tax on farmers. And ask why Labour has done it?Because that’s important. Imagine a farm in a family for generations only worth 1m in actual land and a few farm buildings. Not a big farm. Turn over just enough to create a very modest living with all family members chipping in. Long hours. No holidays. Often teenage children help for free to keep businesses viable. Learning the trade. Something unexpected or terrible happens, and inheritance tax is due. That family can’t pay it without selling. The family becomes homeless. Sells for cheaper than worth because tax has to be paid. The generations of knowledge are lost. A family is homeless & a large faceless conglomerate buys it up…. Bill Gates is now the biggest land owner of farmland in USA! Worrying times ahead..
Back in the day, when dads wore ties at the weekend and you had your Sunday bests. Baths were a weekly event, and mums knew how to cook, When McDonald was just a clan from Scotland, well back then. When suitcases were called portmanteaus, and men wore slacks and blazers even on warm days, there was a comfortable feeling about Britain.
Buses ran on time, the clippies were proud of their jobs and you were allowed to jump off when the bus was still moving.
Food was bought fresh daily and the best before date was sourced through your nose, waste was something to do with the plumbing and seldom involved left over shopping.
Every female adult visitor was referred to as Aunty and everyone's family lived close by
The hand that rocked the cradle, belonged to the mother, a mother who cooked baked and mended, cleaned and nurtured the family and home. No one was ever called ' just' a housewife, being the housewife was the goal. There was usually only one fat kid in the school not the whole class on inhalers and injections, special diets and allergies. You seldom saw anyone in a wheelchair, and it was never because of their weight.
People generally didn't have drink in the house, unless they were middle class, in management and served a sherry before dinner from a drinks trolley. Early texting was running down to Aunty Pauline's with a note from your mother about some important event.
People believed in their country and never dreamed it would be taken from them by people who saw running it as a rung on the ladder to a higher success in the global arena. ,🤷
This is a friend of a friend. He has been missing since March 2nd. Can people please retweet - it's strange how some missing people just don't get attention whilst others do? #jayslater#jackosullivan
