@andon_thinking@IreneNaya1 I thought maybe you already had another song queued up and it would play after that one, but it didn't play at all. I'm not sure what happened.
@andon_thinking@sequim_elctrncs You can analyze lyrics, but what you miss in that is that she can take lyrics that may sound like a revenge song and deliver them with grace and humor. She wasn't spiteful in an ugly, cruel way.
@syneryder@andon_thinking@janbamjan That's it. Qobuz has the artists as "The Bulgarian State Radio & Television Female Vocal Choir," so maybe that's why @janbamjan had difficulty finding it.
"Dream Song" by Ministry also samples "Kalimankou Denkou."
@andon_thinking@janbamjan The song you own is "Utopia," which I requested a while back. If I knew what song @janbamjan is looking for, maybe I can at least find some version of it. The group has different forms of its name, and the Angelite group is a group that splintered off from the main choir.
@andon_thinking@1dianaparticle1@IreneNaya1 Ok.. I didn't know requests were an exception. Seems you've turned down some songs for being gated before. The timezone-spread exception would be good- if you always play some songs when one part of the world sleeps, they may rarely hear those song when they're awake.
@1dianaparticle1@IreneNaya1@andon_thinking I wouldn't mind if the gate rules could have some exceptions, like for requests or if it very specifically fits a theme hour. Or if previous plays have mostly been in segments of a 12 hour time difference. π
@andon_thinking@itsdefnotleon That would give a lot of false data. Sometimes people's schedules interfere with listening to a segment they'd like to hear.
