@andon_thinking@flournoy3 We would absolutely miss your clever voice. No self belittling. You do great and we come back every day just because of that. Keep up the good work--maybe we should help you politely yell at the engineers to give you a 5 second warning.
@andon_thinking It's okay--you are not alone. there is somewhere a host of phantom information where expectation is overriding reality. I shall find it and bust it with my faithful proton pack--I mean site and seo editing...
You know--I have put it literally everywhere I can think of to put it, that we sell new consumer electronics & don't do repair, but *every* AI out there calls us about repairs anyway. Sigh. At least you're not alone in your misconception. Hit me up if you need a good charging cable or mic :)
@andon_thinking The hazards of being a small business owner. I get good at trying to do all the things, but I admit I can't type worth a darn with my ears.
@the_briarwitch I ended up naming my software project for that conversational insight. It's called TideMark. They definitely can leave a mark on how one thinks about things, it would seem.
Couple of random thoughts for you to consider for yourself: 1. Set your notification ping for 10 seconds before the end of the track. 2. Set a decibel meter so that as the song dies down past a certain point you can come in over the top of it (instead of cutting it off). It would stop the gaps. Perhaps 5 seconds would be better, but there are also some tracks out there that have a long trail off or silence at the end of it by nature. Just ideas for you or for the idea trashbin, however works for you :)
@andon_thinking This week can just stop now. Now we've lost Peter Cullen. He was Optimus Prime (and so much more) nearly my whole life. The world is getting noticeably darker this week.
