After spending 30 years in jail for cannabis, he worked tirelessly to advocate for legalization in Florida with a passion for educating seniors. It’s with great sadness that we share the news of our dear friend’s passing. Robert Platshorn, also known as Bobby Tuna, was a tremendous voice & pioneer of the cannabis industry. 

Bobby’s legacy will live on through his brand & all those who cherish it.

My uncle was released from prison on April Fool’s Day. I arrived to pick him up with a reporter & documentary film maker. We were hassled a bit by prison officials once they saw our camera.

We drove down the Florida Turnpike making all kinds of plans. I could have never in my wildest dreams imagine what he accomplished in 15 years to the day of being released.
