Corporation: "We made $4B but spent $3.9B so we only owe taxes on $100M."
Government: "Totally reasonable."
You: "I made $60K but spent $58K on survival."
Government: "You owe taxes on $60K."
You: "That's not—"
Government: "File by May 15."

Reporter: What do you make of Republicans saying that Virginia—
AOC: Wah wah wah.
We have asked Republicans for 10 years to ban partisan gerrymandering. And for 10 years, Republicans have said no. Republicans have fought for partisan gerrymanders across the United States of America. And these are the rules that they have set.
And so if the Republican Party wanted to start this, they did this in North Carolina. They drew out three Democratic members of Congress in North Carolina. They did it in Texas.
What they’re just mad at is that they have been accustomed to a Democratic Party that rolls over, doesn’t fight, and takes everything sitting down. And what they’re mad at right now is that we are here in a new day. And we have been asking the Democratic Party to stand up and fight, and now they did—and now the Republican Party doesn’t like the fact that they are fighting against someone who actually will stand up for the American people.
So if Republicans decide that they would like to revisit a ban on partisan gerrymandering, I welcome them. We have the bill right here to end this all today. But they don’t want to, because they like pursuing and continuing to enact an unfair electoral landscape. And so we have an obligation to defend ourselves.
🚨do you understand what just happened with America's biggest corporations..
Disney made $8.3 BILLION in profit last year.
Federal taxes paid: $0
CVS made $6.57 BILLION.
Federal taxes paid: $0
Tesla made $5.7 BILLION.
Federal taxes paid: $0
Meanwhile Tesla paid China $1 BILLION+ in taxes the same year.
88 corporations. $105 BILLION in US profits. Zero to the IRS.
Instead? The government PAID THEM $4.7 billion in rebates.
You paid more in federal taxes than Walt Disney.
Let that sink in.
> 1950s: corporations funded 1/3 of the federal budget
> 2025: corporations fund 8.6%
It's not illegal. It's not a loophole.
It's the system working exactly as designed.
@TonyLaneNV All you people moaning and groaning because this guy exposed a flaw are unwitting enablers of tyranny. We have the Constitution for a reason. It’s not there to be invoked when convenient only. Sorry that some officers got embarrassed. Put the sign up and move on.
Over 400 women have been arrested since they overturned Roe v Wade... yet not a SINGLE man has been arrested for raping children with Epstein.
It’s never been about protecting children... wake up.
If you don't know the history of Trump's grandfather, y'all need to listen to this. You'll be even more repulsed and disgusted by the psychotic shitstain's treatment of immigrants. 😳👇
🚨 Do you understand what a jury just did to Meta and YouTube..
they found them NEGLIGENT.. for designing apps that harmed kids.. and awarded $3 million in damages..
this isn't about the money.. this is about the word "negligent".. a jury just legally confirmed that these apps were DESIGNED to be addictive.. not accidentally addictive.. designed..
the infinite scroll.. the push notifications at 2am.. the dopamine loops.. the "suggested for you" rabbit holes.. a jury just said all of that was intentional.. and harmful.. and Meta knew..
there are millions of kids who grew up the same way.. same apps.. same addiction.. same damage.. and now there's legal precedent..
$3 million today.. $3 billion tomorrow.. Meta didn't lose a lawsuit.. they lost the right to say "we didn't know"..
“Kids these days don’t know any practical skills”
- the generation of boomers that decided to remove wood shop, auto shop, home ec, and personal finance from public school curriculums in exchange for more practical tests
My BIGGEST problem is that I want to be politically informed but I would also like to have a good day and be happy, and those are mutually exclusive things apparently.
