Peace will be never achieved through the targeting of innocent civilians. Our thoughts are with the victims and all those who were impacted by today’s attack on Israel.

It was the last day for Kensington Market Tours. So much learning for Ss who make meaningful connections. A student was heard saying as she beamed to the peddler: “You’re from Minsk? Minsk Belarus? I’m from Minsk”! Centring identity at the forefront matters. @tdsb@TOES_TDSB
It was a great day to be “At the Market”. Our first two schools toured Kensington. Ss from Palmerston Ave JPS and @MilneMS learned new vocabulary and posed great questions. As one student said: “ I learned a lot”😊😊@TOES_TDSB@oja_toronto

In 2022 #Passover, #Easter, and #Ramadan are all this week, a synchronicity occurring only every 33 years. This convergence marks an opportunity, while we fast, pray, and worship, to focus on our relationships.
The values we share unite us more than hate can divide us.
Our hearts are with everyone - particularly those in the Muslim community - impacted by yesterday’s random attack on 5 men following a midnight Ramadan prayer service in Scarborough.
