@Velo_Scotland@BarryAnderson_ Agree with this, but we still have a wage ceiling. Cammy will definitely enjoy his football at Hearts, but we can't compete with the weekly wage offered by inferior clubs in the English Championship and diddy teams closer to home in Govan...
That’s so, so classy from Marquinhos.
A moment of genuine jubilation with all your teammates scattering in every direction and your first thought is compassion for a friend.
@jleishman38@JamTarts By July 2025, it was obvious Martin was a basket case, and Shankland knew another chance would likely come.
We either gave him the three-year deal with the break clause, or we didn't get him. We needed him. He was a free agent and we were over a barell.
@FionaKirkwood1@kellylgiven I'll tell you what, you know Celtic fans have really lost the plot when my lovely Aberdeen supporting McInnes hating Jambo loathig wife is calling bullshit on their full time narrative...
And here he is at it again - @TEnglishSport, bang on the cash in terms of his description of the big decisions that will see the league decided on Saturday.
BBC News - Penalty pandemonium sets up Hearts & Celtic showdown for the ages

@pieandbov This is pretty much where I am, except I am not a neutral!
The reason for the furore, seethe and debate is when last nights decision is compared to the decisions not given at Fir Park on Saturday. The calls made can't all be right. That will always be the problem up here.
@arnieloudon@TEnglishSport Which one? Clear and obvious?
Its safe to say we're smarting. Its not one decision or the other, its total lack of consistency by VAR. It has decided the league - I don't think we recover from that gut punch away at Celtic Park.
I we pull this off, @TEnglishSport pieces from the last few weeks should be turned into a book. He just gets it and captures the mood perfectly...

The first win in 35 attempts against Celtic 📺
This team have shown they can do it, and it'll take everything and more to do it again.
Get down to Fir Park tomorrow night for the final home match of the season 🧡
Are we about to see the biggest bottle job in Scottish football history? That’s right, if Celtic fail to win the championship given their significant financial advantage - and with the SPFL seemingly on their side - losing the league to Hearts would be a shock of unspeakable proportions. The pressure is ALL on them…
@steflachcomms@scott_mclean_73 This is where I am. Hearts have over achieved this season, regardless of where we finish.
I expect Celtic to spend big in the summer to make sure this can't happen again for 10 years. Ironically, Hearts making the league more competitive will help them attract better players.
It would cost me £45 each way to alter the existing booking.
Alternatively, I can just book new flights for £14.99 and £15.49 return.
How do I cancel the existing booking (so you don't waste the seats). Clearly, I won't be paying £45 each way when it costs £14.99 and £15.49?
I have a question for @Ryanair, but everyone is welcome to help.
I booked an Edinburgh to Stanstead flight for a work event on 12 May. A day return cost me around £14.99 each way.
The work meeting has been postponed until June, so I looked to alter the flights.
@TEnglishSport showing why he is one of finest sports journalists up here. This piece perfectly captures what unfolded yesterday afternoon.
Four to go...
