It’s a funny meme but it’s genuinely hilarious and a bit… indicative, I guess, oh how the internet world and real world collide.
An entire branch of the Armed forces of Ukraine, on the day that this war has gone on longer than WWI has to tell a bunch of Doggos online that they won’t strike two international pedophiles doing propaganda for the Russian.
Our drone air defense video is ready to go, however the security checks are taking longer than anticipated. I had hoped to have it out late last month… but alas… - Devin
Recently had the chance to go out with the DSNS special purpose group “Phoenix” as they evacuated the elderly still remaining in Druzhkivka.
Phoenix along side the police special purpose group “White Angels” (білі ангели) are often targets of Russian propaganda. For Russia, having more civilians in the killzone is a good thing—it makes Ukrainian military movement harder and limits how they can fight.
On top of that, the forced evacuation of children from frontline areas, while sensible for most, is framed as “child abduction” for what the Russians claim is either organ harvesting or child sex trafficking. I have worked with both groups and neither are “paramilitary” as the propaganda claims nor are they trafficking or conscripting people.
These are dedicated individuals who work hard to save people from a hell that is being forced upon them. Video report with them will be out in the next few months.
Here are a few photos from my time a couple of weeks ago in Kramatorsk.
The city atmosphere is entirely different. Drone rule this land and the city feels it. Far less traffic, many more attacks consisting of artillery, FPVs, strike drones, and KAB aerial bombs.
Barbed wire and anti-tank infrastructure litters the city. They are preparing for the battle that is to come, a battle that is half on top of them as it is.
On American Memorial Day, Ukrainians gathered at Saint Sophia Cathedral in Kyiv to honor the Americans who lost their lives fighting for Ukraine.
According to the @RTW_Foundation , nearly 100 Americans have been killed since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion.
@Corrie_UA spoke with American volunteer "Jackie" about the ceremony, the sacrifice of foreign fighters, and the bond between Ukraine and the United States.
Today was an interesting work day… working with helicopter pilots who are engaged in air defense work, medical evacuation, and other missions.
Mostly working with them for an Air defense project (after drone interceptors and police documentary.) because this type of work is a brand new thing in the age of drones.
But I can now knock helicopters off my list.
Today, in the center of Kramatorsk, Russia launched two KAB glide bombs. Their targets? The yards of residential buildings damaging windows, cars, a playground, and multiple homes in a city that has suffered from Russian aggression ever more intensely as the years roll on.
Photos are mine.
This was filmed over a year ago, on this very street, at this market when it was damaged by another airstrike. Myself and @Corrie_UA had been covering airstrikes for the entirety of 2025, so far the worst year for large scale aerial attacks, and I asked him to share his thoughts after 6 months.
We later turned that time into a documentary. Seeing this place completely destroyed is a weird sight now.
One of, if not the single worst attacks against Ukraine since the beginning of the full scale invasion. Senselessly targeting civilians and homes with an arsenal of weapons that was stockpiled during all of the “ceasefire” and “negotiations.”
I’ve not seen this attack break people as much as strengthen their resolve to make Russia pay for their actions.
I was at so many sites like this last year. So many times on the ground documenting that it itself became a documentary.
I must admit that while this year there have been less mass attacks against the capital as their was in 2025– seeing this happen again in Kyiv really knocked me down today
