While there is no doubt genuine concerns on both sides of the application process, what remains surprising is the lack of understanding some applicant firms have had regarding the Financial Conduct Authority approach to approval.

An approval is a gift, not a right.

I would encourage all applicant firms to seek experienced guidance and support when entering the process to remove the likelihood of these filing issues reoccurring and to help ensure its success.

2) As the Digital Assets industry matures, so does the need for senior leaders to evaluate requisite standard compliance requirements and their cost so they can be factored in early, or inevitably pay for it later.

1) Regulatory updates and requirements are a constant once a financial service activity starts being captured under the FCA regulatory perimeter. This isn't a one and done, it grows and evolves as does the industry. There wasn't one MLD or PSD.
