Your favourite lesbians 🌈💖It has been a wild few months. We are excited to be able to finally spend more time together & work on some creative new content 📷 🥰
@nzstocksman @Firedupstiletto @MissSkylarLeigh @smolfrenchfri @Margotembargot @stripdaughter @vixentempleblog Grow up mate 🍅
Looking into each others eyes, reminiscing about the amount of times we have arrived at hotels & they have changed our booking to two twin singles 😤🌈 #lesbian #lesbiancouple
We are almost at 5k signatures! Thank you so much to everybody who has taken a moment to sign. If you believe in grass roots activism & workers rights please share & let’s get over 5k 🔥 👠 @MissSkylarLeigh @Blakebambiwilde @smolfrenchfri https://t.co/3cKpqgoOFR
The barriers that confront us as dancers are because of the considerable attention drawn to what we do for work & the historically non-existent concern for us as legitimate workers & as human beings. FUS stands against systemic prejudice that affects all SWers. @Blakebambiwilde
More Carlos de Treend goodness! Uncensored on my NSFW link below 🧜🏻♀️
'You leaned so close the water touched your nose
A grieving, your eyes, they could see it from below
The ones who came before
Who waded from the shore
And plunged into the cold and murky world
And see no more'
P 1/2.Abolish Stigma against all SW. “If you perceive body confidence, sexuality, showing some skin & dancing as threatening. Then take a look in the mirror & ask why you are so uncomfortable with yourself that you have to demonise & police other peoples bodies?”@Blakebambiwilde
MP Jan Logie: destigmatising stripping one pole photo at a time. Absolute legend!
Contracts in our industry have been presented to our workers while they get ready for work in dressing rooms, management remain standing in the room and wait for you to sign before you can begin your shift. If that is not intimidation and coercion- then I don’t know what is.
Bambi speaking in parliament 💖💖🥰So proud of her standing up and using her voice to inspire the change we need for our industry in Aotearoa 🔥
The workplace health & safety regulator for Aotearoa has failed our dancers @WorkSafeNZ Don’t tell us to contact a regulating body, their messages have been clear-we are on our own. We have already been down every avenue. Contractors needed more rights yesterday @chrishipkins
Everybody in Aotearoa deserves to be treated with dignity and respect at work. Help us give power to our workers, and set a new global standard for rights in our industry. #kickupaFUS
Let’s go 🔥 👠 Come #kickupaFUS with the Fired Up Stilettos. We have been approved for the first ever protest hosted by strippers on parliament grounds… ALL SWers & CONTRACTORS UNITE! Please take a moment to share and sign our petition in comments! 🔥 👠
Our first ever protest. Our first public action against venues & their practices. We gathered together and decided we would do it, even if nobody else showed up. We were determined. But they did show up and they can again on the 16th of April, 1:30-4pm on parliament grounds!
So proud of Blake's appearance on live TV, representing the incredible mahi of the @Firedupstiletto dancer collective. Although you may see our first names appear in media, please respect that in online spaces we are 'Blake & Bambi' 🔥👠💖
"At some strip clubs managers are encouraged to fine dancers and then split the money amongst themselves," says dancer Laura, who came on the show with Green MP Jan Logie to talk about the exploitation dancers and sex workers face https://t.co/JKCZYy1ner #NationNZ
Terf and swerf sounds like it would be a really good meal. But unfortunately, it’s just people who ride around on broomsticks together pretending to be feminists. They are good to pair with sauce though. #Wellington #TransRightsAreHumanRights #TransRights #kickupaFUS
We stand on the shoulders of giants such as Georgina Beyer. Georgina stood for not only trans rights, for queer rights, but for SW rights too! We were humbled to stand in solidarity for such a beautiful event 🏳️⚧️👠#kickupaFUS #TransRightsAreHumanRights
To see what the Fired Up Stilettos have been up to since we began organising for strippers/SWers and the rights of contractors in Aotearoa, see the latest update on our Gofundme 💗 👠🔥 #kickupaFUS https://t.co/60rw7kjsBY
This industry needs change, driven by our workers and that is what the Fired Up Stilettos are advocating for. Petition to parliament in comments 🔥 👠
Our petition to parliament is finally out! Please share and sign ❤️❤️❤️✍️ No longer can we tolerate wage theft, exploitative contracts, unsafe working conditions and extortionate cuts in favour of the venues !! https://t.co/3cKpqgoOFR
Keep up to date with what Bambi and I have going on down here in Aotearoa. So proud of the mahi that all the @Firedupstiletto have done! Including every SWer who has spoken out to inspire a need for labour protections in our industry 🔥 👠
THIS WEEK: Exploitation, assault and wage theft in the strip club industry - dancers say they've had enough. Is it time for change? A deep dive into the world of stripping this Sunday
