…“As Long As There’s Christmas”…the guy was an amazing singer and an inspirational tenor to me. Rest in Peace, my man. I miss the days when singers like him were on the airwaves. #PeaboBryson
The world has lost another great vocal talent. Peabo Bryson has passed away at the age of 75. This guy was one of the voices of my young childhood. “A Whole New World”, “Beauty and the Beast”, “If Ever You’re in My Arms Again”, “By the Time This Night Is Over”… #PeaboBryson
… as he produced his early albums, including the best-selling album of all time, Thriller. I nearly had the chance to meet him when I lived in Los Angeles, and I’m sad that I never got to. Quincy, often referred to as simply “Q”, will be greatly missed. #QuincyJones
…but perhaps one of the things he will be most remembered for is his guidance and talents that he lent to Michael Jackson early in MJ’s career. Quincy was largely responsible for helping to define Michael’s sound…
The great, legendary musician, producer, arranger and so many other things in entertainment, Quincy Jones, has passed away. It’s a sad day in the music world. This guy had a hand in the jazz world in a big way…
And make sure to add the live album recording from our show last year to your Christmas playlist this holiday season. It can be found on your regular music streaming services, including Spotify here:

It centers on the most important reason for the season, the birth of the baby boy who came to save the world. And it’s so unique in its style and presentation, I bet you’ve never seen or heard a Christmas Show/album like this before! #TheBirthOfAKing
Such an honor for me to get to sing with a big choir again alongside this lineup. This is such a beautiful Christmas album and concert with a crazy amount of world-renowned talent.
I had the honor of once again sharing the stage with a fantastic full orchestra, a huge backing choir and a whole bunch of amazingly talented artists, all bringing together Tommee’s vision of this amazing album he created. #TheBirthOfAKing
Another bucket list item was checked off tonight! I finally got to perform on the Grand Ole Opry House stage! This was another truly spectacular Christmas show of Tommee Profitt’s The Birth of a King.
…He left His home in Heaven
To make Heaven my home
My Emmanuel is with me
And I’ll never be alone
Down here my heart can’t find much to believe in
But I still believe in Christmas”
So, I’ve realized if it’s a Christmas movie, it’s set in England, and there’s a leading girl with a British accent, I’m probably going to like it. A part of me believes if I met the right British girl, I would be done for. Still to be determined, I guess. Happy Christmastime! 🎄
2nd time seeing @edsheeran in concert! Last time was the legendary Hollywood Bowl for the Multiply Tour. That show was amazing & all done on his loop station. Tonight’s show on the #MathematicsTour here at Nissan Stadium in #Nashville was loop station plus band, and Ed killed it!
Another song written, start-to-finish in under an hour. This one from a simple, one-word prompt. Channeled my inner Sara Bareilles on this one. Hoping that maybe someday these will actually get out into the world in proper form.
