.@BernieSanders , it is a time to celebrate. @elonmusk has created enormous value for society by building @SpaceX, driving down the cost of rocket launches and creating a global satellite communication network that has brought high speed, low-cost internet and communication access to hundreds of millions and eventually billions of people along with critical advantages for our military and our nation’s defense.

SpaceX and its technologies will cause an acceleration in the growth of wages and wealth creation globally, including in some of the poorest communities in the U.S. and around the world.

Access to low-cost, high speed communications everywhere will allow children around the world to be educated, families to build businesses, and life-saving medical knowledge and care to be available everywhere.

SpaceX will materially bring down the cost of compute, advancing AI and humanity.

Meanwhile, 4,000 SpaceX employees yesterday became millionaires, including hourly wage employees who you claim you are trying to help.

The Elon Musks of the world drive growth, global GDP, and provide access to goods and services at lower cost that would otherwise not exist.

Elon’s nominal trillionaire status is due to his ownership of SpaceX, Tesla, Neuralink, the Boring Company and his other initiatives that have brought new technologies that improve our everyday lives.

Elon is not sitting on a trillion dollar pile of cash, jewelry and gold. He is using his controlling stakes in his companies to advance mankind. Elon’s companies don’t pay dividends. They reinvest all of their capital to accelerate innovation and value creation.

Elon is working 24/7 for all of us. He deserves respect and appreciation, not smears.

Bernie, your socialism would never allow a SpaceX to be built. Socialism has only proven to impoverish mankind and lead to death and destruction.

We need to create the conditions for more SpaceXs to be built, not attack the great entrepreneurs who are helping to advance our country.

Enduring to the end is not merely a relentless determination to grit our teeth, hold on to the limits of our physical strength and mental capacity, and push through the challenges and adversities of mortal life; it is so much more than that.

Enduring to the end is linked inextricably to the spiritual gift of charity, or the pure love of Christ. As we are blessed to receive this supernal gift, a transformation occurs in our spiritual nature and character. Charity encompasses both what we do and what we can become as this spiritual gift ultimately possesses us.

As we follow, love, and serve the Savior, we gradually focus less on our own desires and interests, and more on understanding and addressing the needs of others. We do not merely perform benevolent deeds; rather, our state of being is changed and becomes increasingly Christlike. Charity, then, ultimately possesses us.

The scriptural phrase “endure to the end” is a repeated reminder of the mighty spiritual change in our hearts that should be ongoing throughout our lives; it also is His promise of what we may become if we truly are possessed of the pure love of Christ. #GeneralConference

When 12-year-old Jesus was found by His parents teaching in the temple, He told them that He had been “about [His] Father’s business” (Luke 2:49).

And we can be too. Every calling, whatever it may be, is “His business” when embraced with a humble and willing heart and a desire to lift and comfort His children and to share His good news.

President Dallin H. Oaks has provided us with a wonderful example of what it means to be about our Father’s business. Today we had the sacred opportunity to come together to raise our hands in support of President Oaks, to sustain him as the Lord’s prophet, seer, and revelator.

We have signified our willingness to uphold President Oaks by our confidence, faith, and prayers.

While today is certainly solemn in purpose, it is also a day full of gratitude and rejoicing at the opportunity for the whole Church to come together and exercise common consent.

Life is better, everything is better, when we are about His business. I pray that on this day when we sustain our prophet and president you will find great joy as you also rededicate yourself to the Saviour’s ministry.

ICE did NOT target a child.

The child was abandoned by his father when agents approached on a targeted operation to arrest an illegal alien who was released into the U.S. by the Biden administration.

As agents got out, the father fled on foot and left his child behind. For the child’s safety, one ICE officer stayed with him while the rest apprehended the adult.

This is due to the Church’s annual general conference broadcast falling on Easter weekend.

During the Easter season, the Church will focus on better understanding and emulating the “greater love” of Jesus Christ, a phrase from John 15:13 in the New Testament: “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”
