Is there another verse in the Bible that piles up five “alls“ to encourage us like this?
“God is mighty to make all (πᾶσαν) grace abound to you so that in every (παντὶ) situation, you might always (πάντοτε), having all (πᾶσαν) sufficiency, abound in every (πᾶν) good work.
Pro tip: if you lock yourself in the bathroom so you can answer emails without kids asking non-stop questions, you gotta lock that bedroom door too. Otherwise, they’ll just yell under the crack.
Y'all remember when the play "Stomp" was a thing? I never went to it. I imagine it's something like what my house sounds like right now. Only instead of trash can lids and shop brooms, it's zoom calls.
Day 1: This is an interesting time in our lives. I bet this quarantine will be something we tell our grandchildren about.
Day Today: https://t.co/vgAYVGOYTV
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his great mercy gave us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” 1 Peter 1:3
Our hope is alive. He is risen.
@BarnabasPiper Exactly! I feel like it’s sugar free ice cream. It doesn’t taste rotten. It’s just that it’s kind of close to real ice cream. So you eat it and tell everyone how great it is but you know it’s a lie because you really just want Blue Bell and your friends back.
@dawsko@drewebster the reason: after the first five minutes you’ll call me. And I’ll rewatch the whole thing with you on the phone in 5 hours. And It’ll be the most we’ve thrown up laughing since the quarantines started.
Y’all remember two weeks ago when we did stuff like shake each other’s hands, and not think twice about whether or not we should keep the pot of hot dog water just in case?
Grandparents literally every single day of childhood: Now, I don’t like y’all being out all the time. It’s dangerous.
Grandparents right now: Ima run back to the store and lick all the doorknobs.
WE👏WILL👏GET👏YAWLS👏GROCERIES👏
We don’t like you being out. It’s dangerous.
For many students, milestones, celebrations, momentous occasions and farewells will be missed due to COVID-19.
UCA seniors like @PaulRouse11 inspire us by facing this with a perspective of help for the greater good.
Probably what has changed most about me as I’ve aged is my sense of the mysteriousness of it all. I’ve always felt a deep sense of mystery, but now that sense has moved to the center. And I have less and less sympathy with people who think they have it all figured out.
Got a look at the new Freedom That Lasts books this week! I'm so pumped. The Summit communications team did an amazing job on the updates. If you're in SUMMIT LITTLE ROCK, I'd love for you to join us for 6 weeks. Starting February 9th. https://t.co/lmT7a8EoZ6
