Pokémon is hitting me right in the childhood feels with these tweets 🥺

The year is 2000.

You watch episodes of Pokémon: The Johto Journeys every Saturday morning on Kids WB.

You’re playing Pokémon Gold, your best friend’s playing Pokémon Silver. You’re both about to battle Ho-Oh and Lugia for the first time.

Life is good.

[Pokémon @Pokemon]

The year is 2003.

The Hoenn horns greet you as you boot up your game. You're picking out the perfect spot for your Secret Base. You can't wait to decorate it.

Life is good.

[Joshua Blakemore @BlakemoreJoshua]

It’s funny that @granttkinz and I were just talking about how bad GameStop is to their consumers and how we wished they’d go bankrupt lol

[rudy betrayed @rudy_betrayed]

remember when senators got coronavirus briefings before the public and sold off millions of dollars in stocks before the crash last year and faced no consequences and no regulation? then reddit made one stock into a meme and they’re talking about restructuring the whole market

[Documenting ₿itcoin 📄 @DocumentingBTC]

reddit users buy a stock = manipulation

govt prints $4T for wall street = banking

[Rachel @rach_la28]

One of my 3rd grade students finished her project early today and was working on a word search, but it was very hard so she started writing the words onto paper, cut, and glued them onto the word search instead lmaoooo. This is the kind of ingenuity I want to have

[Joshua Blakemore @BlakemoreJoshua]

@lmalexander_ Straight up was wondering what Bible I’d swear in on if I ran for public office. All these people be having sentimental Bibles and I’m over here with my iPhone 😂

China is now openly confessing to committing genocide

[Chinese Embassy in US @ChineseEmbinUS]

Study shows the population change in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region involves the overall improvement in population quality. An increasing number of youths chose to spend more time and energy on personal development. https://t.co/lSn5EpCJFK

[Joshua Blakemore @BlakemoreJoshua]

@art__jonathan @jack China: we’re committing genocide and wow, we’ve got flashy cool pictures too!
