@jointdocShields Our hospital had this cited on a survey. The solution they came up with for us was to have the surgeon authorize a lower temperature during the time out and have nursing document it. Stupid. But effective.

@ashtongoldmanmd I’ve always used anterior approach since I’ve been in practice. As a trainee, I remember seeing perfect X-rays from posterior hips of my attendings still dislocate. I also revise a fair amount of hips for instability. All posterior. That doesn’t happen on anterior cases.
