@TwinFlicks Understood. Then something went horribly wrong when that disc was authored because the same master currently streaming on HBO Max looks like the screenshots on https://t.co/KrtDuLCzBO.
@TwinFlicks All I’m saying is the low contrast images you pulled for the side by side do not represent how the BluRay actually looked. It was muddy with crushed blacks and hot skintones. But the 4K looks right. The screenshots here are accurate:

@jbillinson If you think that’s crazy, look how many people bought for a Sunday 3am show ? Every show is practically sold out through the entire first week. Most of the good seats are already sold at this venue through August 5.
@CEOAdam It wasn’t just long ticketing lines. Constant errors encountered at every step of the process. Had to buy my IMAX ticket with another theater chain rather than using my A list membership. FIX YOUR FUCKING APP!
@NextBestPicture The AMC website and app are completely broken. No luck since 8:47a this morning when the tickets went on sale. Finally secured tickets on Fandango for TCL Chinese Theatre but will have to wait 12 days into release to finally see it.
@DrewMcWeeny I confirmed he pulled the 4K image from this link: https://t.co/X5SAaDCCi2.
The exposure of the 4K disc looks closer to this image I snapped with my phone. @BobbyCastro1994 is doing this for engagement, not for accuracy. He is incompetent.
@jazzt@angelique814 Thanks for spoiling the cameo for me on opening day, three hours before my showtime. Would have been a great surprise if it wasn’t for you spoiling the cameo IN YOUR HEADLINE.
@NextBestPicture We typically find older studio transfers to be too magenta under close inspection. The final answer print or IB tech print is what should be referenced in this case. If available, Criterion and WB often make efforts to reference prints.
