For those that have never heard this story - My dad caught a ball at my very first G-Braves game 40 yrs ago, and I caught one at my son’s first G Drive game 16 yrs ago.
And I did not have to box out a Phillies “Karen” who thought she called dibs on it from two sections over.
Back to school season looks different this year. Families have the freedom to choose the education for their children that fits just right! Thanks to leaders like @blakesanders_66, school choice is a reality once again in SC!

SC small businesses are being held hostage by skyrocketing insurance costs—and we can’t wait any longer!
Today, the House passed the Liquor Liability Bill (H.3497) to deliver real relief for bars, restaurants, and VFW posts across our state.
✅ Ends “joint and several” liability so responsible bars and restaurants aren’t unfairly sued
✅ Expands insurance options to lower costs
✅ Incentives to lower premiums for bars and restaurants that implement key safety measures
✅ Requires server training to protect businesses, employees, and customers
This bill is a key part of our Pillars for Progress agenda—tackling the soaring costs of insurance and increasing competition so businesses can survive and thrive.
We’re standing up for small businesses, cutting through red tape, and ensuring South Carolina’s hospitality industry isn’t left behind.
I have declared a State of Emergency to further support wildfire response efforts across the state and ensure our first responders continue to have the resources they need. A statewide outdoor burning ban remains in effect—violators will be prosecuted. Please stay informed.
