@bazashc Have you ever read it??? It’s 100% not a children’s book and whoever says that is lying to you. Not only is the vernacular dated and elaborate but the sentence structure and lengthy writing is often hard to get your head around as an adult. Love that book! but it’s not for kids
This morning at ICML 2026, I'll be speaking at the Workshop on Decision-Making from Offline Datasets.
Come to ASEM Ballroom 203 at 8:15 am KST!
I'll talk about foundations of data-driven decision making, from design via model-based optimization to offline RL
I'm giving a talk tomorrow at ICML on emergent physical generalization, including π0.7 🤖
3:15 pm @ SCALE workshop in Ballroom 201

we’re hiring for three ops roles at @physical_int each focused on a different part of scaling robot data collection:
Product Manager
Strategic Projects Lead
Data Annotation Lead
shoot me a note if one sounds like a fit 😎 https://t.co/Wdfl2mcUkL
This vial contains a new drug called PAC-832, which I recently invented to treat Alzheimer’s disease. It is the world’s first selective GalR1 antagonist.
I designed and synthesized PAC-832 in a chemistry lab I built in my garage. (1/16)
NEW: Apple and Audi alumni just unveiled a $25,000 open-air electric neighborhood vehicle.
Amble One is a street-legal EV built for short local trips, with no doors, fewer screens, and a modular design inspired by the 1960s lunar rover.
• Goes up to 40 mph with 60+ miles of range
• Weighs under 1,000 lbs with a 5-hour home charge
• Rear seats fold flat for cargo, surfboards, or gear
• Built-in mounts let you add baskets, straps, mirrors, and cargo accessories
• Already has 500+ vehicles committed by resorts
Reservations are open now for 2028 deliveries.
What exactly did you guys think "permanent underclass" was gonna look like? Having access to all the same models and resources as the insider elite? LOL
Phil Williams. My boss’ boss at Apple. Surfer dude, feet on his desk. We guys asked each other over lunch “What does Phil do all day?”
Then Phil left.
“Oh.”
I’m sorry, Phil.
LLM RL optimizes for sequential reasoning
We also optimize over the reasoning strategy, incl parallel trains of thought, aggregation of parallel traces, & sequential reasoning
This allows the model to better explore & allocate compute at test time

We can learn a model that provides shaped "process rewards" for robotic RL, that evolves automatically as the policy gets better. This improves performance on benchmarks, and works in the real world! Some fun new work with Raymond Tsao & @ajwagenmaker
