@eLzcpd5tGm3oEC9 Useful if it distinguishes background from idle. A render, upload or call can keep working after you switch windows. Would you exempt active media/capture or let people mark an app as never throttled? That’s the boundary I’d want to test.

@ryukozyy Chrome gives you the Chromium ecosystem; Firefox gives you an independent browser engine. As a developer, I keep both installed and test in both. For daily use, let the extensions, sync, and devices you actually use decide.

Interesting direction. The trust boundary seems like the real product here: which origins it can read, whether forms and private pages are excluded, how access is surfaced, and whether page content can influence tools. “Runs locally” narrows data exposure, but it doesn't remove prompt injection or over-broad permissions. Can users scope access per site?
