Scientists have used yeast found on a 5,300-year-old mummy to bake "very good" sourdough bread

Duck is still coming around! Haven't seen its mate in about a week, so we're thinking they're either taking turns on a nest, or they've moved on and this is a new duck. Either way, I will continue to try to be the best host for as long as they want to keep visiting!
@barristerlawusa AT&T is STILL charging my mom for internet at her old address, which we cancelled in September 2025 after she moved out. We cancelled her phone service in November so she could switch to Xfinity and they're still charging her for that too. Seems impossible to fix.
Husband recently found out his cholesterol is dangerously high, so we are going to have to transition away from our beloved slop. Tonight's dinner will be blackened red snapper, air fryer roasted zucchini, and potatoes. ๐
@anisenotatall Wow, you're dealing with some really scary stuff. I'll never understand why X doesn't come down hard on doxxers and people who make threats like this. So sorry you had to give up this outlet--you were so good at it and were a net positive in so many peoples' lives!
Trying to print something. Printer is online, connected, signal strength excellent. And yet, "Printer is in an error state." Why?? It printed the other day? Windows troubleshooting discontinued, HP Smart app unhelpful. Why hasn't home printer technology gotten better?!?
@CapnPregnancy@SaysSimulation@renegademormon Wrong. I am talking about women who wanted marriage and children and were unable to achieve that, versus women who chose the opposite. Maybe some of that failure does have to do with making bad choices, but that's a complicated issue in itself.
