🚨🗣️ 𝗡𝗘𝗪: An emotional Thierry Henry speaks out against the racist attack in Trappes and La Verrière, France.
“This is an ATROCITY. It's TERRIBLE. It's an act of racism.
“At some point, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. You're walking down the street and you get killed, just like that, BECAUSE YOU'RE BLACK.
“WE ARE FRENCH AND THAT WILL NEVER CHANGE, NO MATTER WHAT.
“I AM BLACK, I AM FRENCH, I AM A FATHER.
“It could have been my brother. It could have been my daughter. THIS HAS TO STOP.
“I wanted to express my deepest respect to the families who have suffered. It was very important to me.”
When Diego Forlan whipped his shirt off in celebration after scoring against Southampton in 2002 👀
He then couldn't get it back on, carried on playing and even won the ball back while still topless 😂
Supposedly, this incident was what prompted football's lawmakers to give players a yellow card for removing their shirt 🟨
We are stunned and heartbroken to announce the sudden and tragic passing of midfielder Ezekiel Williams yesterday afternoon aged 26.
A humble, unassuming and generous individual with a razor-sharp wit, Eze joined the club in September and quickly established himself as a highly popular member of the dressing room and was beginning to carve a place for himself in midfield with a series of hard-working and selfless displays that summed him up as a person. Only 10 days ago, he scored his first goal for the club against Jersey Bulls.
As a sign of respect, and to allow the players and management time to process this profoundly shocking news, tomorrow’s London Senior Cup tie with Woodford Town has been postponed.
There has been a gofundme page set up in Ezekiel’s memory for anyone who would like to support and donate.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Ezekiel’s family, friends, and everyone who knew him at this devastating time. He will be very sadly missed by all of us at Hendon Football Club.
RIP Eze 💚🤍
💔🕊️ Raphinha: “Sorry, tonight I don’t want to talk about football. It’s clear that I want to dedicate this win to the fans, but I want to send a lot of strength to Jesus de Miguel’s family”.
“May he rest in peace. In the end, this can happen to anyone. The truth is that it’s very tough... when we saw the news this morning, it was complicated. I’m incredibly shocked and sad”.
“In the end, you go to play a match, and the same thing could happen to you. From myself, from the club, we want to send a lot of strength to his family”.
Matheus Cunha didn't head straight to the dressing room after being sent off.
He waited in the tunnel to celebrate with his teammates after the win.
This is what it means ❤️
