@deeporter_white @BradMBradford Actually, snow removal of bike lanes is prioritized over streets (after 2 cm of snow vs. 2.5/5/8 cm for expressways/major roads/residential streets, because motor vehicles are less affected by shallow snow), but have the same 2-cm priority as sidewalks. https://t.co/JE4m1MqYFR

@MilkBagBandit @BradMBradford Removing all the bike lanes would simply mean that Toronto's 1.8 million* bikes would be sent back to "your" car lanes. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot.

@Morphed7 @ElectionDigest @BradMBradford Actually, the standard is the*same* for clearing sidewalks and bike lanes: for both, plowing begins when 2 cm of snow accumulates — bike lanes don't have priority.

Because there are thousands more km of sidewalk, it obviously takes longer to clear all sidewalks than 🚲 lanes.

between displaying the next arrival for the next *2* trains, but there is nothing to inform passengers of this. Someone just glancing at "10 minutes" might bail on the subway, not realizing that the real next train is moments away.

@TTChelps Today, the next-arrival screen NB at Wellesley showed the next train was 10 minutes away—then flipped to 3, a half-minute later. It continued to flip between 10, 3, 9, 2, then 8, 1 and the train arrived.

1) Looking N, this blind curve is already dangerous to cyclists who can get hit by a speeding vehicle in the right lane taking the curve. But now…

2) The pavement is uneven; the gap is tall. A 🚴🏻‍♀️ riding at the very right edge, moving to the middle of the lane (to be better seen from behind around the curve) will hit this long, tall gap at a sharp angle to the wheel — huge danger of wiping out right in traffic! @CycleToronto
