I think you're misunderstanding each other tbh
in a BTC only world, rates would need to be high to beat deflation (your point) which would kill lending and investment
*if* lending/borrowing persisted anyway, it would require lenders to accepting negative rates which is irrational (Nick's point) so more likely lending and investment still just die
@justinisaballa@TXMCtrades@dampedspring@nickgiva1 in reality being anti-fiat or a BTC-maxi is an elitist, out-of-touch ideology. "sound money" is not some principled, ethical idea. it's repackaged asset holder supremacy. the BTC-maxi ideology is closer to monetized socialism/communism for BTC-holders than it is to capitalism
@demoskinos@fewseethis Can't argue with this, but one could say that the Jan lvl was a deviation only, solely just taking liq, not real demand, therefore less relevant. I dont have a dog in this race, i use boxes in such cases, like you said it's just a few points anyways
@demoskinos@fewseethis That's the level where price discovery stopped, needs to be broken for next price discovery - if not it opens up the possibilty that it's a range high level
@ColonelCoochi3 My conspiracy theory is that the one orchestrating the corner is the bearwhale, and he used the liquidity to add to position - ofc unlikely, but would be hilarious
@0xKingpin The fact that they wanted to get rod of him is not a problem imo, that's kind of normal. The fact that they got so relatively insignificant value in return is what's outrageous
