@Brammflakes Definitely appreciate what you guys have been doing. Game is so fun. If I may, is it possible to maybe add a match progress bar or team scores when searching for a server? Just a pain when trying to find a game and you join almost halfway through.
@GreenDoorGhost@Brammflakes@WARDOGS Idk this might make reviving players a negative. You’re telling me I have to pay extra now to loot your dfib mask to get you up? You’re just gonna de incentivize other players reviving you. I get that looting friendlies is a bitch but there’s gotta be a better way
@Brammflakes@WARDOGS My main concern is the xp grind might be too slow given that seasons will be wiping progress. It’s gonna be hard to figure out the meta game if only a few players that dedicate time to the game are able to use the powerful unlocks instead of everyone having access to them.
@Jdawg_270@Brammflakes@WARDOGS If you join on a friend using steam friend list instead, it’ll put you in the same server, on the same team, and in the same squad. We do it all the time with 6+ friends and never had an issue
No TWID today.
Patch next Tuesday. Handful of fixes from the team (current and former) to deliver. Vanguard/Crucible rep, Elevators in Seraph's Shield/Deep Stone, a few other things that could be squeezed in. Full list next week.
Do not have any solid date for our final TWID installment.
Will provide info via D2Teams account when possible. Please expect all future D2 comms to come from that account, or DestinytheGame.
Appreciate the patience during these times.
Thank you.
@A_dmg04 This has been the most fun time i've had on destiny in a long time. The team really did leave it in a great state and I couldn't be happier with the game. It's sad that this is the end but I will always have hope for this franchise. It's been with me since D1. I love this game.
@Hisagixhisagi@lightdotgg it takes time to aggregate all this data, upload to servers, and also deal with thousands of users. give them a little bit, they'll be back up soon
Not going anywhere until the servers stop paying for themselves, and even then I’ll keep them up and running as long as I can afford it. The community has been so good to me over the years that even if it’s over I want to be around for those that keep playing.
My take on this is that maybe it’s to avoid echo chambers where people just post things and share ideas that maybe aren’t good or well mannered. So you can’t hide behind a veil where you shit talk about others and not get called out on it by the public. Sure you can go and post content like that elsewhere but it’s possible Elon wants this platform to be different. Idk that’s my take maybe I’m wrong.
