Everyone including your Big Idolos says DYOR but YOU don't understand what it truly means.
“DYOR” gets thrown around a lot. Most newbies don’t actually know what it means.
This thread breaks down everything you need to know about DYOR and how to do it correctly.
🧵
A Discovery From January;
A year or two ago, there was this trend of using visuals (thread designs) for threads, each topic and subtopic had visual representations.
This year, I've barely seen such threads.
Is it really gone?
@blaze3web @MomohFirdausi
@Visual__Bee @MomohFirdausi you really pay attention to details and this is very true fr. it was such a thing and it's mostly done by top chads
I think the reason now is that most people on here rn don't really create educative threads like before dyg?
Most Web3 resumes fail before anyone even opens them.
Not because you’re not smart or you lack passion but because Web3 doesn’t hire based on claims.
It hires based on proof.
✍️🧵
Things nobody tells beginners:
✍️. CONFUSION IS PART OF THE PROCESS:
If everything feels unclear right now, you’re not behind. You’re exactly where you should be.
✍️. MOST WINS YOU SEE ONLINE ARE EDITED:
People don’t post the losses, the doubts, or the months of silence.
✍️. MONEY IS NOT THE STARTING POINT.
Skills, curiosity, and consistency matter more than capital.
✍️. FOLLOWING BIG ACCOUNTS WONT SAVE YOU.
Learning, asking questions, and doing small work will.
✍️. MISTAKES ARE UNAVOIDABLW.
Everyone pays a learning fee. The smart ones learn and move on.
✍️. DISCORD IS WHERE THE REAL WORK HAPPENS.
X shows noise. Communities build value.
You don’t need to know everything.
You just need to keep showing up.
✍️. WEB3 DOESN'T REWARD SPEED. IT REWARDS PATIENCE.
If you’re still here, still learning, still trying, staying consistent with value.
you’re doing better than you think.

After I made this post, some people were in my DM asking me about web3 jobs. And it's also no lie that some people don't know what it is fr because they think web3 is just about airdrops, trading, and all other things.
Truth is, I started with zero experience and even with a lot of confusion. I learnt on this same timeline too, from top chads in this space.
so yeah, I will be sharing my experience in my subsequent posts; what web3 jobs are, how to get these jobs, tips that worked, the Dos, and Don'ts.
If you’re trying to break into web3 jobs, this is for you. follow, bookmark this, and turn on post notifications.
