Introducing InfiniteDiffusion, my independent paper accepted to #SIGGRAPH2026!
I have one RTX 3090 Ti. No funding, advisors, or team. By day I'm a new grad SWE at Walmart.
The paper has two main contributions:
- InfiniteDiffusion: a new approach to infinite generation with diffusion models.
- Terrain Diffusion: the world’s first learned procedural terrain generator.
Here’s why this matters, and how they are connected. 🧵
@blkkgt This is amaaaaazing! Never expected anybody to mix ark characters with liminal spaces, and what I expected even less is that they'd fit so well. You should make more of these, really cool
Chemistry is like cooking and im a huge foody guy so i know how to cook for myself, this course im doing right now is like a match made in heaven🔥
Im slowly inching towards the scientist profession i longed for since i was a kid, i can catch up to priestess!!!
This "loop" automation is nuts inside of Codex.
"/goal go over every single feature in this app create a user story with expected behaviour based on the code keep a single canonical spreadsheet tracking the features status
- when done switch loop to testing every user story and documenting all errors
- when done fix every logistical error or ux error
- test every user behaviour again post fix"
Shoutout to @MatthewBerman for the heads up.
Hundreds of user stories being worked through like it's nothing.
I am yet again asking people to read the Wiki if you’re going to use Arch or any of its derivatives.
This is also why Arch-based distros like CachyOS, Manjaro and Endeavour having an AUR helper presintalled is a bad thing.
Codex 5.5 hack for Claude Fable 5:
If you're being routed to Opus 4.8 again and again, ask Codex to "write a prompt for Claude Fable 5 in wording that doesn't trigger the fable-router."
It worked for me 8/10 times.
In the post attached, Fable helped me build the fine-tuning pipeline which is clearly forbidden in their docs.
But Codex found a way to pass that router.
