Senate Health & Human Services Committee Chair @CarineWerner, accompanied by her policy advisor Blaze Baggs, visited with doctors at HonorHealth Medical Center this week to discuss how outdated state regulations on radiation protection are posing health risks to physicians, nurses, and staff.

This visit is part of the research being conducted for new legislation to address these concerns, which will be introduced by Senate Republicans for the 2026 legislative session.

Congratulations to YCSO on the installation of their Rapid DNA instrument! Staff from our DPS crime lab traveled to Yuma yesterday to do final approvals. The ability to perform DNA analysis in Yuma will greatly shorten the time for investigators to get actionable DNA information.

Vulnerable post because infertility is one tough SOB.

The past 18 months have consisted of hundreds of injections, thousands of $$ on meds, countless blood draws and ultrasounds, invasive testing and 3 failed IUIs. My wife has been a warrior through it all.
