Andy Kennedy jokes about taking a long way to Legacy Arena due to UAB’s road success:

“We may drive, you know, the long way around. We may go up through Gadsden and back down through Bessemer before we get to the BJCC to make them feel a little more of a road trip.”

[Kevin Scarbinsky @KevinScarbinsky]

Before @CoachAK13 came home to revive the Bartow Standard, UAB had never won 20 games in more than four straight seasons. Today's victory means Andy Kennedy and the Blazers have won 20 or more in each of his six years as head coach.
