@defendsurvivors Nothing has changed, it’s still being put into the “too hard basket”, they just don’t get it! The system is failing to educate these people. I am sick of explaining myself over and over again and now avoid contact where possible

Women in domestic abuse shelters are not ‘charity cases’ they are victims of crimes. They are not weak or ignorant - they are courageous strong and intelligent. They shouldn’t need to be ‘secured’ in a shelter - they should be in their home and the abuser should be ‘secured’.
