@NINtendo_maya There was a lot of talk about that, and rightfully so, when it got nominated for Best Indie Game at The Game Awards. Had no place in that category.
@Nin10Nostalgia Jett Rocket (and its 3DS sequel), which was a WiiWare exclusive. @ShinenGames makes some incredible stuff, and I don’t believe this series was released elsewhere.
@InPlasticWrap Donut County, which is kind of like Katamari Damacy but with holes (and Katamari also qualifies!), the Meowtroidvania that is Gato Roboto, and the unadulterated nonsense of titles like Untitled Goose Game or Octodad.
I reported every single bot under this post, as well as the accounts they were linking to. FFS, I don’t need phishing nonsense on top of the abuse. @NianticHelp
On the positive side, I got an email from @PokemonGoApp support saying my account was restored, all is good, and I should be able to log in again!
Unfortunately, when I log in, I get a message saying I’m banned.
Sending that email was just cruel @NianticHelp.
@Ese_234 I’ve found the Studio Ghibli films are generally a safe bet for something like this, particularly for parents with children. Totoro, Kiki, and the like are all good entry points.
Of course, I’m not surprised @NianticHelp isn’t being helpful, given how they responded when I reported this. Good on X for banning the abuser, bad on Niantic for not taking it seriously.
Ideally, I’d like to get my account restored and ensure my photos remain in the game. I have access to said photos, as well as the Wayfarer emails about their acceptance.
But I’m not sure who to talk to in get my photos back in Ingress or confirm if my photos are still in @PokemonGoApp or not, and the folks at @NianticHelp have been unresponsive.
