Rucho is the problem with redistricting. Not the voting rights case or even irresponsible politicians. My column today in @onlyskymedia.

@GEDavisBerkeley@onlyskymedia Gary, I'm happy to bow to your expertise, but Sloterdijk is certainly the best known interpreter of Heidegger. As for the association, I'm not bashing Heidegger, but he did join the Nazi Party. So it's hard to say he had no association with it.
@SenAshleyMoody@POTUS Well, to be fair, Trump did say he would run for a third term and take over running elections in the states. He does sound like a threat to constitutional democracy.
@davidharsanyi This nonsense is all the fault of the U.S. Supreme Court in Rucho. You can't tell politicians they can do anything they want with redistricting. If partisan motives predominate, it should be unconstitutional--Republicans and Democrats.
This guy is a Christian terrorist. He was radicalized in College. There should be hearings on how to prevent this dangerous ideology from infecting our young people. And we should think long and hard before allowing Christians to emigrate to this country.

@RickGarnett@JamesMartinSJ I don't see how this line of cases can continue. I asked on a final whether Chick-fil-A could be barred from a highway rest stop bid because the contract specification required the restaurant to be open 7 days a week. The answer surely has to be yes, but is it?
@RonDeSantis And your point is what--a newspaper story about "some experts" got the rate of the rise wrong? Is the sea level rise continuing? Are some homes now uninsurable? Maybe you should be doing something about climate change.
