We had a fantastic turnout for the tennis and pickleball singles tournaments last Sunday, with tremendous matches played in great spirit.

It was our committee meeting last night with three new committee members - we're up to full strength now. Lots of exciting plans were discussed as well as the regular tasks of keeping the club running smoothly.

We had a fantastic night at The Boot Pub last Friday for our annual dinner and awards. Thank you to Davide, Elliot and the team at the pub for the delicious food and great service!

We had a really great day at our men's and ladies' doubles tournament on a beautiful day on Sunday. We had 24 entries which meant 31 sets to be played, and we had a great buzz from various friends and family who turned up to support as well!

Congratulations to our winners - mother and daughter pair Clare and Natasha Rogers won the ladies, and Stefano Tomaselli and Ben Lawrence won the men's for the second year running. Runners up were Sara Evans and Leonie Coveney, and Stephen Davidson and Adam Kelly.

On Sunday we held our mixed doubles tournament. Congratulations to Kate Herbert and George Lawrence on their win! Jane and Ben Lawrence were runners up. We had a great morning with some very good tennis being played. Well done everybody!

We were very proud to host our first Pickleball coaching and social session on Saturday afternoon! It was great to meet our new and prospective members, get coaching from James Smith at JWT Coaching and have scones and jam and Pimms and Lemonade provided by Jane!

Many of us have been deeply affected by the death of a loved one to suicide which is why we want to celebrate Hector's House, a local charity who supports survivors. Come Live, Love, Dance and raise funds for this fantastic bunch of humans!

There was so much enthusiasm from people to take the club forward further, particularly to find a way to get juniors more involved. We also had a convivial drink or two! Thanks all for attending and we look forward to a really positive year coming up!

We were absolutely delighted to host our AGM on the evening of the 14th of January at The Clubhouse Cafe in Bledlow Ridge thanks to our friends at @BledlowRidgeCC. We had a great turnout, with all seats taken!
