I’ve been thinking a lot about where the industry is heading, and I wanted to build something that is meaningful, Steedcrest is my way to do that.

It’s my own independent 2D outsourcing studio, focusing on concept art and illustration.

But more than that, it’s built on a stubborn belief that AI has no place in creative spaces, we operate on human passion, skill, and treating artists as well as clients with respect.

If art is your hobby, I think the most important thing is to have fun. There are no rules, you have complete freedom to draw however you want, and I absolutely love seeing artists enjoy the process and its results.

However, if you want to improve past a certain point, or become a professional, things become different.

Epic Games has internally delayed the release of a shooter game they’ve been developing featuring Star Wars & Marvel characters.

• Developers on the game have now been told to only use AI to write the code — “No more hand-written code”

• All art for the game would be “generated with full AI workflows”
