@pucksanddreams_@AdamFly96727825 Ah. I see what this post actually is. A metric ton of cope and a healthy dose of trolling & rage baiting for engagement. Got it.
Here’s your 1 engagement from me. Congrats.
Good day.
@halfwall_hockey I think you go Reid and Morozov at 2 & 20. Get the dynamic agile prototypical big right shot Dman, and the big fundamentally sound shutdown Dman. That significantly bolsters our defensive depth in the system and gives us 2 big adds to far and away our weakest prospect position.
@ProducerDrew_ Versus Ruff who figured out to coach that team halfway thru the season. Because on Dec 15th Buffalo was 14-14-4. 25th overall in the standings. Tied with Winnipeg & Chicago in points % after 32 games. Then, with no roster changes, suddenly they remember it's a competition?
@Hockey_Robinson Eh. Not saying they aren't considering him, but I'm pretty sure the Sharks picked Dickinson in 2024 without having taken him to dinner. Taking a player to dinner doesn't mean they're gonna take him, just like not taking a player to dinner doesn't mean they aren't considering him.
@NHLFoley It’s going to be Schaefer. He’s much more dynamic of a defenseman, as well as a much more involved shooter. Hutson is an incredible skater and puck distributor, but I predict he will suffer for being elite only in agility at the blueline and as a puck mover, and not a lot else.
@blairzyp_@dafrickengerman@JamesNicholsNHL A high end defenseman is harder to find, and much more expensive to acquire, than a point per game winger.
And right now, nobody knows what any single player in this draft will be. There are only guesses using various data points to mitigate potential risk. Don’t fool yourself.
@dafrickengerman@JamesNicholsNHL Right handed defenseman are not hard to find. High skill right handed defenseman who can effectively run a powerplay at the NHL level are hard to find.
@2MINIHULK No. I mean with the benefit of hindsight I totally get why that could be the feeling. But goalies can be weird sometimes. And it’s entirely possible that he doesn’t hit this level of his potential without going to Calgary. So I look at it I’m glad he was here & is now succeeding.
