Israel, as a state, is not committing genocide.

It’s been incessantly accused of genocide by people and groups who want people to believe that Israel is committing a genocide.

They want people to believe that Israel is committing a genocide because they can weaponize that claim to advocate for military intervention - Yugoslav Wars style.

The goal of military intervention is to attempt to destroy Israel.

They repeat this claim often and loudly to shore up support for an eventual shift in the discourse that will advocate for military intervention at some point down the road because it suits their geopolitical objectives.

It also allows people to use an emotive claim (genocide) as the basis for shoehorning in a radical policy agenda. This tactic has been successfully used by the DSA and the Greens.

The anti-war people love war. They got their war, and now they’re trying to keep it going indefinitely for this reason. It’s all a rallying cry to help them grow and pursue their goals.
