A child’s mind is a garden, and the teacher is the gardener. Nurture it well, and watch the world bloom. Let us educate batwa children together💛🎓

Beyond counseling, the #BamweLendahandInitiative is empowering the Batwa by promoting self-sufficiency. By supporting sustainable life skills training, they are directly combating the anxiety and depression caused by poverty and food insecurity. #HolisticHealing
The forced displacement of the Batwa from their forest homes caused deep trauma that has run through generations. The #BamweLendahandInitiative is helping to heal these wounds by providing community-based mental health support that addresses the profound sense of loss and grief.
Bamwe Lend a Hand Initiatives believes that launching an education fund to support vulnerable children at higher levels of education can help transform their lives.

Only 10% of #BatwaChildren complete primary school. Every child deserves an equal chance to learn, dream and grow. Let us break the cycle of exclusion and invest in education for all. 📚
