Early last year, I had the privilege of visiting Olderkesi Secondary School to celebrate their exemplary academic performance. While sharing their success, the school administration informed me of a major challenge they were facing the inability to offer computer education due to the lack of a computer lab.
Understanding the critical role that computer literacy plays in today’s world, I made a promise to the students, teachers and the entire Olderkesi community: I would construct and equip a modern computer lab to help make Olderkesi truly digital.
Today, I am proud to announce that the facility is complete and fully equipped ready to open doors of opportunity for our learners. This modern computer lab will empower students with essential digital skills, enhance their learning experience and better prepare them for higher education and the evolving job market.
Together we are investing in the future of our children and ensuring they are not left behind in the digital age.

Governors have rejected the Treasury’s proposal to centralize county own-source revenue collection through the e-Citizen platform.
They argue this would undermine county autonomy and risk transparent fund management.
