This is not me defending what Pastor Flourish did or defending the lady involved.

Ideally, with everything that happened, people would naturally question certain things. But I also just want to point it out that she don’t randomly got an award.

From what I know, she was actually once a very well-grounded Christian before she backslid. I’m talking about someone who was properly discipled, someone who genuinely knew the Word, understood it deeply, and could hold solid conversations around scripture and faith(she still can).

She wasn’t ignorant of the things of God.
It’s honestly just sad that she lost her way at some point.

But from what I’ve seen, she recently found her way back to church, and I want to believe God is still doing His work in her life and will continue to do so.

So my point is not to justify anything, but simply to clear the air on why she may have received that recognition.
