Exactly. I was just asked to present to my colleagues in June, which means I’ll have to work over the weekend to prepare. To make matters worse, I have a wedding to prepare for, so this extra workload is cutting into my personal time. Honestly, few people in other industries would be willing to work for free the way teachers do. We work well beyond the 180 days, but people outside of education will never truly understand."
