I've got two @LaraconUS us tickets to sell. Sad to miss it this year tho. I got them at early bird pricing and I'd love to transfer them at cost. Not sure how to do that tho...
It was all a dream! @pipedream that is...

How is Product Management different from Project Management?
There's a big difference in mindset and approach.
Let us break it down, so that you can adapt and be successful:
Every company needs 2-3 senior+ engineers who have fuck you money or just have 0 fear of getting fired.
Then when the architect or tech fellow or whoever unveil their new plan, those engineers unmute to say wtf is this, we're not moving everything into Lambda, are you high???
I see a gap in the no-code/automation market. Some loose thoughts:
– Consumers and businesses use no-code tools to build their own automations
– Consultants use the same tools to build automations for non-technical customers
– Devs build general-purpose no-code platforms for the latter two groups (Zapier, Make, etc)
The gap is between the devs and consultants.
Quite often, I see consultants lamenting that they can't solve problem X for their customer because the no-code tool they're using is too limited.
I see this all the time in @NotionHQ consulting circles particularly.
A customer wants some sort of automation, but Zapier doesn't give the consultant enough fine-grained control to build it.
And they can't just build a custom app for that customer, because the cost would be astronomical.
...or would it be?
As I've learned more about building on @pipedream (a low-code platform more than a no-code one), I've found that I can essentially build mini-apps for my audience using my limited coding skills.
Instead of trying to do everything with no-code tools, I can write code – in a limited way.
As a fairly new programmer, I can work with APIs in JavaScript just fine. I can write business logic just fine.
What I don't know how to do is deploy full-stack apps to servers, handle security, scaling, auth, advanced error handling, etc.
You know, the scary stuff.
Fortunately, Pipedream handles that for me. I just share a workflow template I've coded with my audience, and they do their own auth/setup in their own Pipedream account.
I see a huge amount of potential here, both for technical creators like myself and for B2B low-code consultants.
– As a creator, I can build low-code automations for my audience instead of making super-long tutorials they have to follow. Perhaps I can even sell these as templates in the future.
– Low-code consultants can write code to solve problems for clients, getting around the kludginess of no-code tools and handling precise customer needs.
And then there's the actual gap:
I think there may even be space for a player that can build these sorts of templates for no-code consultants, who can then deploy them for customers
(Much like how WordPress/WebFlow make the jobs of freelance web designers much easier).
Again, loose thoughts.
I just keep thinking about the speed of deployment here.
Yesterday, a colleague asked if there was an app that would transform a PDF to plaintext for free.
I was able to build him a Pipedream template that does it in about 5 minutes.
At @LaraconUS we explore new ways of writing modern, reactive PHP applications. Also new ways to get started with PHP / Laravel. 😎
Laravel forever. 🌴
More goodies already in the pipeline for post Laracon too. 😘
Pumped to launch support for "multi-level subdomains" on Laravel Vapor. ☁️
This means you can now launch Vapor apps at domains like "https://t.co/9gnIq1H2aS".
Thanks @joedixon for knocking this feature out of the park!

Picture it:
Today, you close 5 tabs instead of adding 5 more.
With new fully-editable Coda doc embeds, the picture in your mind is now reality. In addition to keeping all your information together, you can now make changes to your docs without having to open another tab.
Happy to see #laravel popping off. Anyone in search a of Laravel engineering manager? It would be amazing in my first year of full entrepreneurship to work exclusively on Laravel products. Younger me, who hacked on v3 with so much joy, would be so proud.
@AiImagen@aftershootco Hmm, when I create a project, I'm immediately sent to the editing flow. I've been using trial credits. Is culling only available for non-trial users?
For my last two photoshoots, I've used @aftershootco for culling and @AiImagen for editing. AI has saved me 8-12 hours. Getting ready to use these apps for 2 more shoots and I've never been more excited to edit galleries.
@aftershootco@AiImagen Thanks for sharing the link! I tried to use editing but it seems I can’t get started without creating my own profile. I’ve recently developed a new style. So as of now, I can’t build a profile. Are there plans to provide AI profiles out-of-the-box?
I chatted to some YC founders last week who are _exclusively_ using the SQL editor in @supabase to build their app.
Because of this feedback we're doing complete overhaul. What would you like to see? (comment here or on github - we just want the feedback)
I’ve been reluctant to try ChatGPT. Today I got over that reluctance. Now I understand why I was reluctant.
The value of 90% of my skills just dropped to $0. The leverage for the remaining 10% went up 1000x. I need to recalibrate.
